The Caterpillar Distribution Center set up in Shanghai (in service since March 2006) and Singapore keep a storage capacity of more than 150,000 different types of parts, so as to ensure an abundant and in-time supply of parts. The advanced stock control system connects CEL directly to Caterpillar’s worldwide parts supply system, providing real-time parts supply and storage information and ensures an efficient and reliable parts supply.
