The Program involved training in mainland
China as well as in Malaysia, providing trainees with a valuable opportunity
to gain exposure in various operating units. Program commencing from July
through December 2008, was divided into three stages:-
Stage one:
- In-house training courses on Corporate, Product
Knowledge and 6 Sigma in Shunde, Guangdong
Stage two:
- On-the-job training in various branches
/ departments in PRC
Stage three:
- In-house training on management skill,
presentation skill, customer relationship and team building at Sime Darby
Industrial Sdn Bhd, Malaysia
The management trainees were based at Tractors
Engineering Complex at Puchong and Sime Darby Business School in Malaysia
from 4 November to 2 December 2008. The trainees are presently undergoing
on-the-job training in PRC for 22 months until May 2011.
